Proper maintenance is important for the safety, reliability, and lifespan of your mobility equipment.

Before Every Use
Before using your equipment, check:
- Brakes
- Wheels and tyres
- Frame
- Seat
- Footrests
- Armrests
- Handles
- Screws and connections
- Moving components
- Safety belt where fitted
- Electrical controls where applicable
If you notice unusual damage, loose components, electrical problems, or another safety concern, stop using the equipment and contact us.
Cleaning
Regular cleaning is particularly important when equipment is used on beaches or near the sea.
After use:
- Remove sand, dirt, and debris.
- Clean the equipment according to the product instructions.
- Pay particular attention to wheels and moving components.
- Remove salt and other residues after exposure to a marine environment.
- Dry the equipment appropriately.
- Store it in a suitable dry location unless the product is specifically designed for outdoor storage.
Do not use cleaning methods or chemicals that could damage the frame, electrical components, tyres, upholstery, or protective finishes.
Wheels, Tyres, Frame and Moving Parts
Regularly inspect:
- Tyre condition
- Tyre pressure where applicable
- Wheel attachment
- Wheel bearings
- Wheel alignment
- Cuts or damage
- Unusual wear
Inflate pneumatic tyres according to the manufacturer's recommended pressure.
Do not continue using equipment with a severely damaged or unsafe tyre.

- Moving joints
Loose components should be checked and corrected according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Do not modify or drill the frame or structural components without approval.
